Everywhere are reminders of romantic love. Flowers, cards, and chocolates entice would be lovers to spoil each other with beautiful treats.
It’s the time of year for proposals of marriage and promises of everlasting love and devotion.
Sadly, none of this applies to you as you hurry past the shop windows with reminders that your own relationship is over. You are feeling a tug on your heart strings…
The cords from the fourth Chakra are often called the ‘Heart Strings.’ They represent love between two people in a relationship and connect between the heart Chakras of two people. These cords may be recent, from the past, or even a past life. A past life cord connection is often a deep recognition of the connection between strangers.
The heart Chakra is also referred to as the ‘bridge between the higher and lower self,’ so healing any damaged fourth Chakra cords is vital to creating a healthy union of those two aspects of us as human beings.
Heart Chakra cords are often damaged during childhood. Each time another unhealthy relationship is formed the damage is repeated. By the time we are adults we usually have very unhealthy heart strings.
While healing these cords it’s important to only mix with people who truly care for you. Friends and family may feel they are being supportive but often have their own agenda. Relationship breakups affect not just the two individuals, others can negatively judge the situation. They may make you feel guilty, angry, disgusted or weak. Let these feelings flow but only if it leads to a positive healing experience. Never allow others to spiral you into negativity. Let people know that you need time to recover.
Exercise to heal your damaged heart strings:
Sit in a quiet comfortable room and relax.
Take some deep breaths and allow all the stress to float out of your muscles.
Bring your attention to your heart Chakra. Place the palm of your hand across the heart area and allow healing energy to pass into the Chakra.
Visualise the cords coming from the Chakra and notice what they look like. Are they twisted, limp, floating free or attaching to someone?
What are you feeling towards this person? What do you need to address and heal about the relationship with this person or situation? Take each cord and visualize a rose-pink energy infusing into it. Fill it up with beautiful loving energy until it looks vibrant and glowing. Take as long as you need to complete this exercise and repeat as many times as you like.
New cords are forming all the time and maintaining their health will ensure happier and healthier relationships in the future. Blocks between the higher and lower self will dissolve and a clearer path to spirituality can be followed. Creativity will improve and resolutions to problems will be easier to find.
Here’s to a happy, healthy and loving 2019.
