April brings so many celebrations and transformations. Easter illustrates the ascension of Christ, Passover symbolizes the Exodus, Vesak commemorates Buddha’s message to the Universe, and Anluth Avurudda marks the Sinhala Hindu New Year in Sri Lanka. The warmer breezes are a comfort, and every one seems to pop out of the grey winter doldrums to greet each new day, a re-birth. All of us have experienced transformation in our awakening process. Whether you are a caregiver, an assistant, a healer, a guru, or an artist… the way we think is changing as our vibrations are raised, and we feel a need to make this a physical as well as a mental shift. The Universe offers various gifts to encourage us in our journey, including a sparkling treasure trove of gemstones and crystals. Charoite is a rare stone discovered in Siberia in the 1940’s and can also be found in Russia. This stone comes in various shades of purple, violet, and lavender with streams of charcoal, teal, and ivory. It even appears as though stardust is sprinkled on its surface. I see distant galaxies and nebulas floating through its depths, and star seeds scattered before their countenance. Gorgeous on it’s own, or paired with Amphibolite or Amethyst; Charoite plants the seeds of metamorphosis and strengthens our link with the higher realms of consciousness. Charoite assists us in our conversion by allowing us to release our deep seeded fears. The fear of abandonment, harsh criticism, or the dread of death can be overwhelming. These fears can be rooted through trauma or even unrecalled childhood experiences. Releasing these aversions is a significant part of the awakening process. Whatever our personal journey, we should be on the lookout for other beings who need assistance in some form or fashion. In doing so we realize our connection to the Universe. Samsara is our circular path in this physical realm; lessons to learn and wisdom to share. When we are living in a way that fulfills our path we feel a sense of contentment and completion. Charoite offers support for our life path by impelling us to work in service for others. Connecting with unseen dimensions, Charoite aids our chakra system, resonating with both the Third Eye and Crown Chakras. If you were to place Charoite upon your Anja (third eye) it would allow access to the vast wealth of ancient knowledge that is stored inside each of us. Meditation with Charoite increases your Sunyata; this is a state of no mind and non-attachment. Some call it void or emptiness. Sunyata is the understanding of the profundity of each being. This knowledge brings the awareness of the whole. Charoite vibrates with the number 7, and has a monocyclic crystal structure. I think of the crystals inside as shaped like a bar of soap; a rectangular prism of sorts. This structure allows Charoite’s crystals to resonate and attract with similar energies and vibrations in the Universe. While Charoite may be a stone of transformation, it urges us to live in the now. Carpe Diem -seize the day! Every one of us counts and makes a difference on this planet, in the galaxy and for the entire universe. What will Charoite whisper in your ear?]]>
