Also can you see where my father B K is? Is it wise to try and find him? Please help! Robin Cornwall UK Dear Robin, Thank you for entrusting me with your problem. I see your wish to have your son living with you as admirable but not practical right now. In time your partner will have other plans of her own and need the freedom to move on. As things stand, your boy is happy to have you both in his life. He is not happy with conflict and feels loyalty towards both of you. At times he feels a little emotional and is VERY sensitive. This can cause him to be overly emotional. He is highly empathic and picks up everyone’s moods. Try to teach him to protect himself from this and treat him in a slightly more macho way to help him survive the world. You are his role model and he looks up to you in every way. In the future your relationship will be so close most people won’t understand it. You are both psychically in tune with one another and telepathic. BK – Your father has not been on the scene for so long he now he feels awkward about trying to get in touch. He would love to know more about you and your family. He was a young man who made a few mistakes but always had and still has a very good heart. He could be traced easily. Try The Salvation Army tracing service. Part of you holds back to see your mum’s point of view. You do feel, however, that you want a man’s influence in your life, (like your son.) If you make the decision to try and meet, he will speak to you but his involvement will not be long term. He is always on the move, searching for contentment not yet found. His own issues lie with his own parents who share a family soul lesson of all being so super sensitive that everything is taken personally, seen as criticism leading to misunderstandings, arguments and unnecessary separations. I see a strong link between grandfather, son and grandson. You are all very alike and share a soul family lesson. Send love out to your father. It will reflect back to you in a wonderful way. Best wishes, Agony Aunt Question: Dear Agony Aunt, I would love some input on why at 60 I still have social anxieties and such a difficult time “moving forward” as I feel better physically? I appreciate your time and gifts of God’s loving heart! Best, Virginia Dear Virginia, Thank you for sharing your concerns with me. It feels to me as if life has moved on for you but certain events are frozen in time. A numbness surrounds a particular situation or event that you can’t free yourself from. Before you chose to move forward, what were the anxieties and were they always there in the background? To overcome this we need to begin with the root of the anxiety. Were you always knocked back whenever you tried to stand on your own two feet? This is definitely not relevant to your life now. At sixty you have grace, charm and wisdom. People like you and worry for you. For now, avoid any social situations that intimidate you, concentrating on having fun with one or two close and trusted friends. This will gradually give you confidence in yourself that you are attractive to others and fun to be around. Wishing you every happiness in the future. Much love, Agony aunt]]>
