From Steph: Hi, Should I be worried about my health, or stop worrying over nothing?Mandy Peterson: For you, I draw the card “Allow yourself to feel and face your fears.” There seems to be an underlying fear is of losing everything and rejection. There is also something showing causing issues with the head (headaches, dizziness, or brain fog). But this might go back to water issues/dehydration. Water issues keep coming up which it says are based on feeling drained. As for ideas which focus on using avoidance techniques to overcome worries, if you are told NOT to think about a pink elephant because something bad will happen to you if you do, what is the first thing you will likely think about? This said, even with hypochondriacs and people with phobias, 90% of the time they do NOT attract the things they fear or obsess on. Sometimes beneath a fear of health issues, there is a past-life being triggered. For example, some people with severe wheat issues (which can cause confusing symptoms, fear of what is happening in the body, or feelings of not being believed), may have had Ergot in a past life (a wheat fungus disease that crippled people throughout history and even lead to persecution at times when misdiagnosed). There are also lot of bizarre health issues these days which cause symptoms that are confusing but not life threatening (like hypoglycemia, candida and others issues that don’t come out in blood tests). With a lot of these, the problem is food allergy issues, increased sensitivity (to chemicals, emotions, toxins and other things) and issues with grains or sugar (I sense some food issues with you). This said, anxiety can cause similar symptoms too. Sometimes there is some cross over. For example, food is symbolic of how well we are emotionally being nurtured and whether what we are accepting as nourishment is toxic for us or not. Some people (though not all) with food issues may have had toxic childhoods or relationships. They can’t “digest” nurturance/relationships the same way and have “sensitivities” or are “addicted” to toxic foods, substances, or relationships. Definitely feel your emotions and don’t be afraid of facing them, processing them, loving yourself, and moving forward. There is a great book called, Feel the Fear and Do it Anyways. Most worries are unprocessed emotions and feelings of lack of control. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a great modality for fear and some of these subtle health issues (food addictions, sensitivities, etc.). It has you focus on your issue while applying love and acceptance. This has a way of neutralizing the issue (which may be trying to get your attention). Ask yourself what would help you to more appreciate life and to treasure it everywhere. Try not to split though. Splitting is a psychological disorder where a person begins to engage in black and white or all or nothing thinking (all good/positive or all/bad negative). See that everything has its place. Another good resource is Eckhart Tolle who teaches how to be in the now. Find the middle way through processing the negative while also allowing some moments for joy, reverence and playfulness again. Since we can’t always control our thoughts, worries and feelings (which may be trying to come to the surface from an unconscious place to help us to face, remember, or process something), using action might be something that will make you feel more empowered. Plant a garden, hug a tree, love a pet or grow something and watch it grow. These are all actions that foster life energy (health, vitality, etc.) through a focus on life and living rather than inanimate or life-draining things. Do little actions every day to help you embrace life again or keep a journal where you write daily in it everything you have to be thankful for. It is less trying to control your thoughts or suppress other thoughts as allowing you to think of and remember what you do have to be grateful for. Question
From Melinda: Is my husband’s settlement going to come in soon. It has been 4 years now, and always delays… Insurance company not ready. Will he finally get what is owed to him in the near future, like now?Pamela Cummins: I hate to say it, but I’m getting not now, but soon. I see a man dangling by a string and that’s what the insurance company is doing. My guides added, “Have faith and trust all your needs will be met.” Diane Hiller: I feel delays up until October. Sorry. I also feel issues with an attorney that is not helping this process. Elaine Good: Dear Melinda, I feel there are legal issues here that hold you both back. Try to stay patient as more stop and start movement will continue until spring 2017. Then a breakthrough. Question
From Darlene: My workers comp has been going on since 2008. I would like to know what they are going to do and what I have to do to get it done with?Pamela Cummins: I heard the AC/DC’s song, “Got you by the balls.” I felt and saw Archangel Michael. My interpretation of that is not only ask for his help, but also visualize him taking his sword to cut away the gunk that is holding up your compensation. Elaine Good: Hello Darlene. I know you have been patient, but I hear this will take some more time. When you receive something it will come at just the right time for you. Your expectations are high. Think half and that will be realistic. Good luck. Jennifer Sieck: I am hearing not now. And I feel you really hanging on. The hanging on is draining your energy for other possibilities to open up. Go in a different direction. You will find more energy in letting go of your expectation, more abundance too. Question
From Rose: I am going through some rough times, will there be a beautiful light at the end of this tunnel?Pamela Cummins: “Always and this is why you must go through the rough times,” my guides added, “if your attitude is positive and you are filled with the faith, the ride in the tunnel will be shorter. And your healing and outcome much quicker.” Diane Hiller: Hi Rose. It might be helpful for you to read On Joy and Sorrow by Kahlil Gibran from his book The Prophet. Elaine Good: Hello Rose, hard times are the end of a difficult period of lessons. Your sweet nature has taken things well and you have tried to see the best in everyone. This turns around suddenly, around winter this year. You deserve happiness and it is coming. Question
From Marilyn: I feel like I am at the end of my journey with pain. Will I get relief so that I can live a normal life? I continue to mourn my two parents who died two years ago 13 days apart. I love life but not this way.Pamela Cummins: My guides said, “Start now. Believe and you shall receive.” The good news is you’re feeling and going through your mourning, therefore, you will feel freedom soon. I get a vision of old, crinkly skin peeling off of you, when the process is done – you will be reborn! Elaine Good: Hello Marilyn, I’m so sorry for your losses. Grieving takes longer than you think. There is an end to this suffering so please have faith. The light at the end of the tunnel is glowing brighter every day. Soon you will be ready for renewed energy and love for life. Blessings.
