Dream In numerous recurring dreams (started about a year ago), I dream that I’m dreaming and then dream I wake up. It once happened 3 times. Like I had a nightmare, woke up in my bed relieved it was just a dream, got up and was starting my day and then woke up again and realized I was still dreaming (got up and met with a friend and told them how they were in the original dream), and then woke up one last time. Each time I woke up it felt so real, for real. Last night the original dream was that I was doing things with a boyfriend (brown hair, youthful, no one I know). He was a new boyfriend but we were really close and I felt comfortable with him. We were with a couple of his friends and looking for a place to stay. We found an apartment that needed some work but we liked it. My boyfriend and I would be living with these two friends of his, one who is a recognizable TV star (though someone who played a supportive rather than a lead role). After moving our stuff in, it was still daylight but my boyfriend and I were really sleepy so needed a nap. He took a nap somewhere else in the apartment (we were crashing anywhere since boxes were everywhere). I fell asleep in the dream and started dreaming I had a child with me (about 4 years old) and was trying to protect it from someone following us. I took the child into a shopping mall to try to lose the person following us (they wanted the child, not me). The dream changed and I was with my boyfriend (from the dream), and it was similar and I felt that same feeling of being followed or being unsafe. He made me feel safe though and wasn’t as worried as I was. Then I woke up (in the dream) and looked at the clock, I had slept 2 hours as it was now dark outside. I was wearing his shirt (white) but it was unbuttoned and I started buttoning it up. I went into the living room and realized his friends were still around and talking to each other and I felt self-conscious since I was only wearing a shirt that wasn’t fully buttoned up yet. I was trying to button everything up before anyone noticed and sat down on a couch in the back of the room behind some boxes where I would be less noticeable. My boyfriend woke up and found me in the living room. I was worried he would be mad that I was in there in only his shirt (with other guys around). But he didn’t seem concerned. He was really caring, asked me how I slept. We both noted how it was now dark out and we had slept the daylight away. I told him I had strange dreams and that he was in them. He said hoped it wasn’t anything bad (since he was in them). It felt so real, like I was really waking up to talk to him. Then I woke up for real, right before I was able to tell him what the dreams were. Appreciate any insight, Thanks Pamela. Dream within a Dream Interpretation I heard my guides say the Beatles song title “A day in the life” while the instrumental of the song played in the background. Interesting. Please pay close attention to all your recurring dreams and if possible write them down. I am also intuitively getting that you, at times, do some lucid dreaming in your recurring dreams that really makes them feel so real at times. My interpretation of the dream is this is symbolic for a man that is coming into your life very soon or has already come in. He feels like a good, safe man. You will be moving forward with him and this could be a permanent life time relationship. There is still some cleaning up for you both to do but both of you are moving forward into a very important role. The moving in together, boxes that need to be unpacked, needing to rest, all symbolize that this is a process. The supporting star actor is a sign that this is an important relationship and will be very supportive, which was pointed out throughout the dream. The child you were protecting that you dreamed about within your dream is a representation of your inner child. Your inner little girl feels like it needs to be protected from unsafe people, this feels like people from the past. With this new man, your inner child will feel safe. The fact that you may have felt self-conscious but didn’t fear for your safety after you woke up from the dream in front of other men shows that you have done some healing from the past. The button down shirt shows that you can be somewhat vulnerable but can choose how much you want to expose of your life to others. The color white stands for purity and you can be your pure shelf. The end of the dream where your boyfriend was caring and supportive about your wellbeing in the daylight and the nighttime is symbolic that he will be there for you during the light and dark times. He sounds like a good catch. Pamela’s Recurring Dreams The following is from one of my Pamela’s Psychic Insight blog that I had written about recurring dreams: In my early to mid-twenties I had a recurring dream. I was in a small room that had a ton of dressers with all types of drawers. I would open them and find all kinds of treasures. It was so exciting because I never knew what type of riches I would find and they were worth a lot of money. I would stuff the booty into my pockets, my purse, my bra, wherever I could. I was always so disappointed when I awoke. One day, a few years later, after I had been working with dream symbolism for a while, I thought about my old recurring dreams. I had those dreams before I began my self- growth and spiritual journey. It occurred to me that the treasure hidden away in the drawers was symbolic of the riches that were inside of me. What I really had been doing in those dreams was looking for who I was. I then realized that the dreams stopped once I had started on my healing path. Isn’t that awesome? The above recurring dreams really show how important it is to pay attention to your dreams, so you can help heal and improve your life!
