LynAnne Moon knew she was ‘different’ at a very young age. Realizing that the religious practices of her family did not resonate with her, she began her own search for truth. She investigated a number of different pagan traditions until about 5 years ago when she discovered the Sumerian tradition. LynAnne stated, “Ancient Sumer, is really the cradle of civilization and I found what I was looking for in the rich heritage and traditions there. I find in it a joyful blend of the old and new, young and elder, and everything in between. It is a happy religion positive, and upbeat.” In her practice, she follows the Wheel of the Year, The Wiccan Redde, regular worship, and the importance of green living. LynAnne described, “We reverence the Gods and Goddesses of Sumer. We are aware of and practice a number of rituals specific to our culture, and we are all servants of the higher good, as are the Priest or Priestess, looking not only to serve our own people, but also people in general. I think another important difference with us is that we are not afraid of the darkness. We can, and do, go into our own darkness and those of others [with their permission] in an effort to help them find the light. In many respects, it’s sort of like a fire fighter. When others run away, we will go in, shining the light around and looking for those left behind. We question everything that we do and our lives around us. We don’t discourage people acting like people. We look at the emotions as indicators of the human being inside, and work with it. Anger, love, hate, envy, jealousy, forgiveness, all are embraced, and worked with as part of being who and what we are.” LynAnne is a wealth of knowledge for anyone who is seeking to learn more about the pagan path. She said jokingly, “No, I cannot fly, nor can I turn someone into a toad. But I can discover the truth about a human being acting like a toad, and my spirituality flies.” Many times I have heard LynAnne say, “The Universe loves to tell us ‘Yes.’ What it says ‘yes’ to, is entirely up to us.” LynAnne Moon is a psychic medium, often working with astrology, tarot and numerology. She offers various readings from one question, to covering an entire year. She holds a ministerial license often providing services for marriage, counseling, wiccaning, coming of age, and burial rites. LynAnne works through the Chaplain Services in El Paso, Texas. All of the revenue earned through her services and readings are donated to H.O.P.E. Retraining Center. I asked LynAnne to share more about the H.O.P.E. Retraining Center. She explained, “H.O.P.E. Retraining Center is a not for profit, centered on the re-homing, retraining and reeducating, as well as employing of the homeless, and homeless veterans in particular. This is a community based effort that provides homeless veterans and others an opportunity to get back into society if they wish, but more importantly, back into the community as respected and valued members who are self-sustaining and employed. This is a huge effort of which I am personally very proud, given that I am an initiator, as are my partners, Frank Fudge and Joseph Lorentzen.” Donations are accepted for this wonderful cause through their website at www.hoperetrainingcenter.org. LynAnne hosts a show called Dimensions of Spirit on the Hey-Z Radio Network on Sunday nights at 8:00 PM ET. Her show features people from all walks of life and their experiences and passion for living. She is also a co-host of another show called Spirit Within with host Richard Sepulveda which airs on Tuesday afternoons at 4:00 PM ET where they discuss various abilities and experiences. You can listen to these programs on the Hey-Z website at www.heyzradio.com. You can visit their Facebook Fan Page here. LynAnne and her partners also offer commercials and voice-overs for radio. LynAnne Moon is one of our columnists for Bellesprit Magazine and penned her first book, The Journey is Forgiveness, while writing a series for the magazine. She commented, “I haven’t decided when to present the book for publishing, but it is the first of, I hope, many books that are itching to come out of my fingers and heart.” LynAnne concluded with, “Thank you for this amazing opportunity to showcase some of my experiences and what is available through my gifts, as well as my passions. It may not have seemed like much to you, but it allowed the Universe to say ‘Yes’ to me, and in turn to many others. We are all connected so carefully, so precisely.” To schedule a reading with LynAnne Moon click on Numbers, Stars, and Cards from her website at www.dimensionsofspirit.com.
