Halloween Blue Moon 2020

Intense, spooky, and almost ominous waves of energy will come to a climax on Saturday as we celebrate All Hallows Eve with a rare Blue Moon in the sign of Taurus.

Not since 1944 have we seen a Full Moon on Halloween, let alone to bear witness to a special Blue Moon. A Blue Moon occurs when more than one Full Moon happens in a single month. While this Blue Moon won’t actually appear blue, it’s illuminating energies will still be felt far and wide.

As if 2020 hasn’t given us enough to contemplate regarding bigger forces at work in our lives, our attention will be drawn to the sacred echoes of voices and footsteps left behind by generations past this Halloween. Our Ancestors, Guides in Spirit, and Higher Self will be reaching out to us even more this Halloween to offer support.

Lunar energies pull at the deep recesses of our emotional bodies. They influence our temperament. They create swollen ocean tides. And they emphasize our divine feminine energies of motherhood, reproduction, and pregnancy. They also govern our subconsciousness, dreams, memories, and inner visions. On this Halloween, where the veil is naturally thinner, we will see an especially intense communion between our material 3D world, and the realms of the Other Side.

This Blue Moon in Taurus will invite us to make stronger convictions about our loyalties, material desires, long term foundations, and long-term goals.

While we may be tempted to submerge ourselves into creature comforts with great food, great friends, luxurious settings, and full sensory activities this Halloween, we must be careful not to overdo it or overindulge. Temptations of indulgences will be high. Temptations to give in to risky behavior and throw caution to the wind could cause unexpected complications.

Considering we’re still in the window of Mercury Retrograde in the sign of Scorpio, we could see people drink too much, eat too much, get into fights, let their jealousies get the best of them, engage in unprotected casual sex, or drive drunk. Misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and selfish behavior could become an issue. So, if you plan to dress to the nines in your costume and attend any parties or go to bars on Saturday, be sure you have a designated driver and go to places you are familiar with, where you know things are likely to be relaxed.

A Blue Moon in Taurus invites us to be consistent, and take time to assess situations carefully. It also invites us to pay close attention to details.
