Cosmic Coincidence Believe it or not, all of us are born psychics and have at least one or more of the psychic ‘Clair’s.’ A few known psychic Clair’s are clairvoyance, clairaudience, claircognizance, clairsentience, etc. It is just that some of us are more in tune with ourselves and can recognize our psychic abilities. Some people may have the gifts, but they are never tapped into, so their awareness of their own psychic powers is very low. Training The first analogy that comes to mind is that of training for a race. I trained to run a half-marathon around seven years ago. When I first started, I could barely run a mile. After a few weeks of training myself with alternating between running and walking, I started to run a few miles. I then enrolled in a training program to run for a race. The training program had one long run every week and one shorter run. The first run was five miles. I never thought I could run that distance, but I managed. Every week, we kept adding a mile or two. At the end of the training program, the long run was 12 miles. All the folks who had enrolled in the program managed to do that run. Everyone had their own style, pace, etc., but what mattered most was that everyone was able to finish it. The race was 13.1 miles and all of us who had been through the program finished it successfully. Everyone had their own pace; some ran faster than the others. But in the end, the training was very helpful. In a similar manner, you can train yourself to communicate with the Universe. The Universe always communicates back to us. The Universe communicates to us through signs. These signs are unique to each person. The Universe will only communicate with you in a manner in which you will be able to make sense of the answer. The Universe identifies the interpreter in you and communicates accordingly. It understands your pace, style, form, etc. to compare to the running analogy. Signs from the Universe in real life There is also a way in which you can ask the Universe to show you a sign. I will give an example of this. I had to make a call to John and I was dreading it. Deep down in my gut, I didn’t really want to make the call. But out of duty, I had to make it. I was torn as to what to do. So, before I went to bed at night, I asked the Universe to show me a sign the next day. If I saw a good sign, I would go ahead and make the call. I got up in the morning and put some milk in the microwave to warm it up. The milk spoiled. I knew what it meant. So, I decided to put off the call until the next day. The next day, I saw a spider. Spiders are always not a good sign for me, so I knew that was a no. So, I told myself, that the third day, I would not do anything. Just wait and see and if nothing happens, then make the call. I was very quiet the whole day. That evening, I decided to call my parents for some reason. It was a bit unusual, since I would call during the Friday-Sunday period most of the times. As soon as I called my parents, my Mom asked me if I remembered Mr. Smith to whom we used to visit when I was a kid. She said that he had passed away. Dang! I was out of luck. I just decided to bite the bullet and make the call to John. It took a lot of courage to call John. I knew after all those signs three days in a row how the call would go. Finally, I called him and the result was as expected. I breathed a sigh of relief. I had done my job to call him and at the same time, the Universe had done its job to warn me what the outcome would be. This is just one example of a sign. The Universe can show you signs in many different ways. For instance, if you are wondering about how to get a situation resolved, you may hear a song and the lyrics of the song will have an answer in them. Or if you are driving, you will see a street name or a bumper sticker on a car bearing the answer to your question. Sometimes, you may hear a voice inside of you telling you something. This is another example of a sign. Asking the Universe for signs The best way to ask the Universe for signs is to present the request when you go to bed at night. Ask the Universe what it is that you should know or do. You can also put a time limit and ask the Universe to show you a sign in one day, two days, etc. How the Universe will show it needs to be left alone. It will most likely happen in a way you won’t know. You may be watching a movie or a TV show and something in a dialogue between two people will relate to your situation. It could be in a book you are reading, or just a normal conversation you are having with someone else. When it happens, you will know. Just like you can train your physical muscles, you can also train your intuitive muscles. Training always comes through exercise. As you start exercising your intuitive muscles more and more, you will start recognizing things faster and be able to communicate more with the Universe. Where can you use signs? If you are thinking of choosing between two companies for a job offer, ask the Universe to show you a sign as to which one is better for you. If you have doubts about any situation, you can use a sign from the Universe. For instance, if you are not sure whether or not to continue in a current job, relationship, career, etc. you can ask the Universe to show you signs. Psychics and signs As a psychic, or when doing a reading, what we are doing is interpreting the signs from the Universe. The signs pertain to the questions a querent/client is asking and the answer to the questions. After doing lots and lots of readings, it becomes easier for a psychic to identify their strongest Clair and read the energy around the question related to the client. The Universe is always talking to us – we just have to be able to recognize what it is trying to tell us by interpreting the signs we are being shown.
