Therapy Insights Walking home from the bus stop, you recognise the woman coming towards you. Exchanging greetings, she gives you some information you have waited to hear. Saying goodbye, you walk on with a smile. Considering the chances of meeting the very person with the knowledge you needed to ease your mind, you decide this meeting could be either fate or fantasy. So what exactly is fate? Ask anyone what fate means to them and you will hear many different explanations. I prefer to quote the British clairvoyant medium and writer, Betty Shine. She refers to fate as “From Another Time Extracted.” Relating to the theory of Karma, everything you do, either good or bad, will reflect back to you at a time when it makes the most impact. This may skip lifetimes, waiting for the opportune moment to experience it fully. Perhaps in a past life you lived an honest and generous life, always committing good deeds. In this lifetime, you are a devious liar, yet do very well materially. This is the ‘From Another Time Extracted’ accrued in that past life. Alongside the material gain, there will be an opportunity to make amends, become spiritually aware and do only good deeds. If this opportunity is missed, then the lesson returns to the start. Coming from an honest and loving heart will notch up favorable Fate points. By expanding our mind or Ego energy, we can take control over certain aspects of life. How we live, eat and conduct our relationships achieves higher levels of spirituality. Spirituality is not necessarily religion. To quote Betty Shine, spirituality means “pertaining to the spirit; spirit is essence, essence is energy.” One method of controlling fate is self-discipline. By concentrating on a subject that interests you, pressure is taken from the physical body and connects you to universal knowledge. Even daydreaming about your chosen subject will increase your intuition. Concentration, order and discipline are important for spiritual growth and connection to the vast amount of information available. Applying this for short periods to begin with and gradually increasing the time spent will help you forget negative thoughts created by boredom. Remember, the way you discipline and conduct yourself in this lifetime will be revisited and experienced in a future one. That is your F.A.T.E. Source, Betty Shine, Mind Magic. Views:]]>
