Read the story of Sherrie Dillard, a natural born medium and the lifetime development of her abilities with the help of her Spirit Guides.
Review by Janie Manasco
In this book, Sherrie shares her confusion, fear and adventures along her path of learning to know herself. Her experience includes misunderstandings by family and friends and the hurt that comes along with it.
Sherrie carries the reader through her childhood years with the harsh and scary moments she endured. Early in her life, a psychic recognized her abilities but instead Sherrie ran out of the door in fear of who and what she was and what this all meant for her.
I was able to relate to her reaction very well being a medium myself since childhood. If we are running from our abilities, we are also running away from knowing ourselves as who we truly are.
Sherrie continues her story through her young adult years, her marriage and now being a parent with grown children as she shared her trials of dealing with her self-identity.
In one section of the book she discusses her struggle with knowing a person was about to drown but didn’t ‘see’ enough about the circumstance to prevent the drowning. This caused her to dislike herself and Sherrie began to question her Guides. She was told that this vision was only to motivate her. They further explained that it was an opportunity for her to ‘know herself.’
Again, this fit me so well. Knowing oneself is an adventure and seen throughout the life of a Medium. This phrase can be seen written everywhere and even within my own heart. Sherrie shows how, in doing this, it takes spending time alone with yourself.
I especially enjoyed reading and learning about the difference between ‘religion’ and true faith. Sherrie states that you don’t have to hate one to have the other. You just need to adjust and see faith for what it is. She learned much of this realization from the Natives of Southern Mexico.
I feel one of the most important revelations she had was that she didn’t need to ‘fit in’ in order to be understood. Her self-worth was not dependent on being liked by everyone else. She confronted her own crisis of identity that she had dealt with for most of her life.
I have read many books written by other mediums sharing their life stories. However, the majority of them did not meet with what Sherrie shared about her growth into becoming a full-blown medium. I really appreciated that Sherrie shared so many detailed accounts about her thoughts and the lessons she gained from her experiences.
This was a wonderful read with many of the same insights I have come across in my own experiences as a medium. In many ways this book provided validation for me that I was on the right path. I give this book a 5 Star rating!

I appreciated the story that Sherrie shared in her book because so much of it resonated with me.
Sherrie Dillard is a fun writer, spontaneous and writes creatively. I couldn’t stop reading it.
This book, I’ve Never Met a Dead Person I Didn’t Like, is a journey of faith, hope, love, and compassion towards oneself and humanity. Sherrie has so much love for the world and its people while surrounded by her Spirit guides, friends and loved ones
Sherrie’s autobiography demonstrates that finding the truth to her existence was not easy. It was tragic and lonely which took her place to place living broke and alone. Sherrie’s adaptable nature and resilience is truly remarkable.
Life is hard and we could be lost, but there is beauty in the knowing that God is ever-present, sending help, hope and love every single day.
I am forever grateful to Sherrie for serving her true purpose, and sharing her love, life and light to everyone.
