I’ve had a recurring dream for years about living in a beautiful house that was rectangular, if you will… In this house there was a double of each room and each room had the same furniture. It had a TV, sofa, chair, and a desk. On the desk each book (in every room) were on the same page and marked at the same paragraph. I even remember dreaming in color which was kind of crazy… The TV was on and I could hear the voice in my dream that was kind of like a talk show, an interview or something like that. There was also a burnt orange recliner in the rooms. Throughout the house, it was decorated all down to earth and an elegant well to do look.

Then several years later, after those dreams started coming slower, I went to see a house that was for sale and they were busy. The owner called me several times, and asked me to come and see it. When I went there the house had two kitchens and it threw me back to my dream. And the house was going to come fully furnished as well. I saw this here and it quickens my memory.

Interpretation

What an interesting recurring dream! This dream has quite a few interpretations of what it could be. Let’s go with the first obvious meaning. Your repetitive dream may actually be a precognitive dream, which is foretelling your future home. However, check out the home thoroughly to verify it is the right one.

Recurring dreams usually occur because the dreamer is denying an aspect of their life, ignoring issues he/she are aware of, or have lessons to learn. When a person dreams about a house, it usually represents their body and them self. Dreaming of a rectangle can be about: logical thinking, inhibitions, male energy, stability, or material things. A vision comes to my mind of a square that is being elongated into a rectangle; therefore, your thoughts or a situation in your life is expanding.

This may sound strange, but I keep getting the message of twins since everything is double in your dream. Which makes me wonder if you have an unknown twin, twin flame, or perhaps another you on the planet? The double of everything could also mean the two sides of you: good and bad, male and female, mental and emotional, or physical/spiritual, and so forth.

If you ever have this dream again, please make sure you read the paragraph if you haven’t already. This paragraph has important information for you. Between the book and an educational television show, there are lessons for you to learn. Since everything is double, your learning is not only ongoing, but observing everything from more than one side.

Here’s my interpretation of what your recurring dream means. The beautiful house represents the beauty within inside of you. You are learning to balance your inner male and female side, in other words – the duality of life. One of your missions in life is to break out of total logic and mainstream ways, while mixing in intuitive insights and spiritual living. Allow yourself to expand by noticing both sides of everything.  Always continue your education. Your education will be as colorful as your recurring dreams. How interesting is it that even the furnishing is enforcing the yin and yang of life? Be elegant without losing your down to earth ways.

Lastly, the fact that your recurring dream has slowed down, shows that you’ve been slowly but surely accomplishing doing this.
