Dream
I dreamed rats were running thru my hair. That can’t be a good thing. Yuck!!!!Interpretation It is obvious that you do not like rats and neither do I. The good thing was they were not biting you! I don’t have much to go on, but will give you a bunch of interpretations. The first is that rats tend to not be trustworthy and hair can be symbolic for power as the story of Samson & Delilah illustrated. Is there anyone around you who is untrustworthy, trying to take away your power? Another way to look at it could be that you are having real problems with your hair. Or not having good thoughts about someone or something. A third way to look at it is are you having dirty thoughts or not feeling good about something? A forth way is someone ratting on you, or do you need to report someone’s bad behavior? A fifth way to look at it is hair can be used as a sign of vanity. Are you insecure about your looks? Could you be vain about your hair? Or maybe someone gave you a bad haircut? I felt guided to get a couple of my books on my book shelf to look up the meaning of rat. The first one is Ted Andrews, Animal-Speak, Pocket Guide, and quite honestly his symbolism surprised me. Here is Mr. Andrews’s symbolism – Rat (Industrious) Be resourceful and shrewd for greatest success. Explore as many new avenues as possible. Do not limit your activities or efforts. So ask yourself, is there something you have been wanting to do and now is the time to start? Maybe new ideas are coming to you? Or afraid of someone taking away your idea? The next three definitions of rats come from Denise Linn’s book, The Secret Language of Signs. Ms. Linn asks, “Are you letting something gnaw at you?” That would make sense, if it was your thinking because the rats were in your hair. But since the rats were running through it, that could be letting you know that it is time to let go of what you have been allowing to bother you. Another example Ms. Linn gives is “Is your home or office a rat’s nest. Clean it up or quit judging it and your energy will soar.” I find this amusing because people use the rat’s nest example for hair. Maybe you need a new hairstyle? Or since it is your hair, to clean up your power? Maybe you need to clean up your thoughts? Do you need to wash your hair more often? Here is the last one of Ms. Linn that needs to be shared, “Rats can also be a symbol of those things inside yourself that initially disgust or appall you. It is important to integrate and accept those parts of yourself.” What kinds of thoughts have you been having about yourself? Is there something you are not accepting about yourself? Is there something you need to change about yourself? Are you able to change it? Since the rats were running through your hair, do you dislike your hair? Maybe it is time for a new style? Wow, that is a lot of information for one line question! I would suggest you go with your gut feeling about which one feels right for you. It probably would help to journal down your thoughts and feelings to reveal anything else that might come up. Lastly, make up a plan and/or goal and take the action steps. Sweet dreams! Views:]]>
