Dream
When the dream started I was at a gas station with my cousins, but no one had money to get gas, not sure where our money was. But I had 20 dollars in my wallet, so I gave them the 20 bucks to get gas. I knew that wasn’t going to get us very far because my uncle said we had 1400 miles to go. The next thing I know, my mom’s calling me on the phone telling me to come home because there is a party going on and we can eat food at the party.
At this point, my uncle is in the car with me driving us to my house and he turns the wrong way. I try to show him where to turn to go down to my house a different way, but he just speeds past it. We end up in the middle of nowhere when he runs over some guy on the road. My uncle doesn’t stop and starts to drive even faster. We come to this old building and he drives the car though the building. There’s dead people all along the left hand side of us and then he gets the car stuck, so we have to get out of the car and tried to get out of this building.
This woman tells us this is a sacred space and that we’re getting sued for going in there and the cops are on the way. So at this point, my one cousin turned into my mom, the other two turned into my sister and her friend and we’re trying to get out of this house. This old African American woman then grabs my sister and won’t let her go, so I have to go help my sister get loose. Meanwhile, my mom and uncle crawl out the window. My sister and her friend crawl out afterwards. When it’s my turn I get half way out the window and I get stuck… I then woke up.
Interpretation
Wow! This is an interesting dream! There is a ton of symbolism and the biggest star is family issues. The first part is where you are going to the journey of life and your family
imprinting is coming with you. You want to go on your own, but your mother is wanting you back at home to take care of you. The party symbolizes fun with the family, but also her way to tempt you to the family’s way of doing things. The food is nourishment, her taking care of you, because it is at her home, it is her style of food.
The money appearing when no one had any symbolizes that your needs will be taken care of. Your Uncle pointing out how far there is to go represents the family dynamic of making you feel that you won’t be able to take care of yourself and look how hard the road is. My guides are responding with the song lyric, “It’s a long, long road” and letting you know your needs are being taken care of. The long road also shows that you have a long life ahead of you.
Your Uncle either represents himself, an older male authority figure from childhood, other
Bad Boys that have been in your life, or a current boyfriend. Because your Uncle is driving the car, it shows how men have taken control of your life. Some men have disregarded what you want and is shown by him ignoring you. They also didn’t follow the rules and don’t have much regard for your humanness. In a sense, this man killed a part of you. Most likely your male side (power, logic, and manifestation) because he did run over a man.
The part of the dream where he gets stuck in an old building means there is a part of you stuck in the past. The dead people on the left hand side could stand for two things. The left side of your body is your intuitive and creative side, do you have blocks in this area? It could also represent dead issues that have not been completely buried yet.
The woman stating this is a sacred place is referring to the sacredness within you. If you stay in that state you are currently in there will be trouble, hence being sued and the cops coming. Your family members changing into others represent that they all have similar issues, issues you need to work on. Obviously you were a protector of your sister when you were younger.
The fact that some of your family members escaped could symbolize they have gone thru their family of origin issues or are escaping from them. It may seem like it was bad that you got stuck in the window but it wasn’t. You are halfway (my guides added – a little more) working thru your upbringing stuff. You are willing to… I got interrupted by the song lyric, “Free, free, set them free.” I also heard “Don’t worry baby, everything will be alright” a song from 50s/60s? My guides are adding that there is freedom on the other side of it. Many blessings to you.
