From Outer Space to Under the Sea
Intuitive Life Signs bring the empowerment of an oracle card reading to a deeper level, showing you the insights of possibility in the symbol you choose. Choose your sign. Match it with the message. Each sign has a corresponding meaning with questions and suggestions as to how to use that meaning to gain introspection, clarity and clear answers about the issues you are going through in your life. Learning to live an intuitive life is as simple as trusting your gut on which sign, symbol, image calls to you! Looking deeper can bring you to a place of fulfillment and enlightenment. You choose! What sign calls to you today?
1. Outer Space
In the beginning all was bold. All was bright. All were able to see and be seen. It was a brilliant time, a beautiful time, a time that will live on for ages to inspire and delight the little ones who dream in vibrant colors. But time has dimmed this brilliance. Life has dimmed this brilliance. The busy times, the noise and confusion of today have dimmed this brilliance. It is now time for you to reinvest in the brilliant colorful vibrancy that is life; that is the potential for life. It is now time for you to shine in all your colors and all your glory as brilliantly as it once was. In the beginning, there was no smog or hum of machines or technology. There was no chatter over the wireless or space sky. There was not a bombardment of other people’s ideas and opinions. All was clear. All was bright. All was brilliant. See if you can get back that place, that clean slate place where all was possible and all was thrillingly vibrant in its possible-ness. See if you can find that quiet corner or space in life to really get in touch with what it is your soul longs to express, to live, to experience! For life is not dull. Life is incredible! Humans dull it down to make it livable. Perhaps now it is time to toss that aside and if even for a moment, peek and see the brilliance that lies beneath all the noise.
2. The Ram
Have you ever seen a Ram, a Bull in full force? Its head bows down, its eyes close. The only thing it does see is red. Just before it charges it might peak up just a little to see where the intended target lies, but in all variance and utterances, it is blind at the time of attack. This is the symbol, the image for you right now. So much of your time is spent and wasted going at things full throttle, head on into the intended target, that often it can leave you blind to see what is directly in front of you. It can stop you from seeing the possibilities that lie on either side of you. It can stop you from seeing attacks from beside or behind. It can even lead you to run head on right into the wall, as your intended target moved and you were not able to see it. Notice this month where you are headed full on to something, be it a business venture, a relationship, a project. Where do you put your head down and close your eyes as you begin to charge? What would you see if you looked up?
3. Under the Sea
In the water lies potential for greatness. Life thrives in the water. Wind, air and currents of energy run along and play with the water. Fish, whales, dolphins and other crustaceans and creatures all call the water their home. It is a vibrant place, a place filled with much activity and action. Much goes on under the waves of the water. But when you are on land, looking at the water, what do you see? Do you see the fish swimming under the surface? Do you see the Whales gulping gallons of their dinner between their tiny teeth? Do you see the algae that grows, the plants that anchor at the bottom, waving in the breeze of the current? No? Why not? Because it is hidden, you say. Oh, yes. Because it is hidden. Occasionally you might see a splash or a ripple. Occasionally you might see a Lilly Pad or a fish fin. But for the most part, if you wish to really see the action that lies in the water, you must get in the water. You must submerge yourself into the water. You must go to the depths of the water to experience the life that lives there. Today, look at what areas of your life you are simply glancing at the top of the waters. Where is it that you are only seeing the ripples of the action? Where is it you would like to experience the joys of the sights that lie deep in the base of the action? Look to find those places and then, jump in! The water is fine and the views? Priceless.
4. Mining Town
In the desert lies an old mining town. It has seen better days, days when people used to come and party in its saloons, sleep in its inns and socialize to all hours of the day and night. Those days are gone now and the desert has come sweeping across the land, reclaiming the wooden buildings into sand hills and tumbleweed gardens. It is time to discover places within yourself, your life and your world that look like this old mining town, abandoned and discarded. What you choose to do with these places, these memories, these friendships and old ideas are up to you. You might choose to refurbish some of them, polish them up to be what they once were in their glory days and sell tickets to show them off to the general public. You might choose to scrapbook them, take the photos of those memories and put them away, fondly and carefully preserving the memories. You might tear them down and build a new fancy town, one that doesn’t hold so many memories of gun fights and failure. You might move back into the town and take it back over as your own. Whatever you wish to do with the metaphorical towns that show up, know that there is no right or wrong to what you choose to do. This is the year of making new to you, even those things that might look old to someone else. Own your towns, reclaim them. What appears might amaze you!
5. Magic Wand
It was never said that one who did what they did accomplished it so easily that it was as if they had a magic wand. No. It is said “No pain, no gain” and “Hard work is the key to success.” (Not what you wanted to hear, now is it?) Right now you have a rare window to get, create and make what it is you want, almost as easily as if you had a magic wand. What is it you would create in your life right now if you could just wave a magic wand? The key to success is relationships. Finding and co-creating with others can help create what you cannot by yourself. You do not have to do it alone! You do not have to do it by yourself. By opening up to another’s ideas, talents and strengths to help you achieve what you wish, you are able to exponentially create more than you could ever do alone. Others are the key to your magic wand moments. Open up and let them in! It’s okay! You can walk a path with someone beside you, cheering you on, supporting you even! It is okay to let down the walls a bit to open up to some possibilities with other people. If you had your magic wand, what would that relationship look like?
6. Koi Pond
There once was a fish, a Koi, in a very small pond. He had been there a long time, tens of years and years. He had been fed well by this pond and had been growing at a steady pace over and over the years. He had gotten so big that one day he noticed he was bumping up against the walls more than usual and that he had begun splashing the water out of his little pond to the point where there was hardly any water at all. Now there was a bigger pond next to this little pond where this Koi lived. It had been there a long time and this little Koi had spent many fine hours staring at this big pond and all its loveliness. He would watch the fish, big and little, swimming in that big pond and wonder what it was like over there, just a few feet away from where he swam in his not so big pond. He wondered if he dared make the leap. Would he find a place to call his own in that big pond with all those other fish? Would he be lost, ostracized, shunned? Would he be lonely? Would he miss his little pond? These thoughts plagued him so much he had never dared take the little leap to jump over the little amount of land that lie between his little pond and the big one. Now, you know what is coming up next here. The big fish has grown so big he has splashed most of his water out of his little pond and if he is to survive, the best idea would be for him to face his fears and take the leap into the big pond. But it is still his decision. It is your decision too. If you do not leap you will drown in the small pond. You have gotten too big! Are you ready? (Hint: The big pond won’t seem so big once you are there and you will find your way… and one day it too will become your small pond.)
7. Scorpion
They say that the bite that stings the worse are not the largest or loudest, but the ones with the most venom. This month it is time for you to take a good, hard look at the places, people and relationships in your life that stir up the most venom in you and fill you with the most poison. You know the power of your own bite and most of you have tried very hard to find ways to lesson its sting, but what you might not know is that it isn’t all your fault. There are some people and some relationships, even some things – places, foods, activities, that invoke within you that boiling hotness that rises up within you. And then, without warning, it comes out as a very powerful sting. A sharp word is uttered, friendships are destroyed and jobs are lost. It can be devastating. It is time to stop punishing yourself for being vocal and instead look inside to notice the source of these stings. What is it that infuriates you the most? Where is it that you are not taking care of what your body needs (rest, sleep, food, outdoor, exercise, water)? What relationships have been festering and boiling for a long time, feeding you negativity or instability? What has irritated your insides to the point it has built up the venom within you? Take a look around and see where and how you might change those areas of your life so that your sting might be less poisonous for all involved.
8. Ridges
There are some places on earth that have many ridges to their landscape. They have hard rock as their land. Ups and downs, mountains, hills and valleys each take place as a separate part of the landscape itself. When the sun is high, these ridges stand out, prominent and proud. When the sun is low at sunrise or sunset, these ridges take on a life of their own with shadows and shading. Sometimes at just the right light, these ridges in the rocks look like they are moving or alive, taking shapes as the light hits them just so. It might be time to take a look at the landscapes around you. Where is it in your life that things change suddenly, that one minute they look one shape and the next minute they look totally different? Where one moment you think you know where you stand and the next you have no idea? Where is it that the path you are walking on, the direction you were headed, has changed drastically? Where is it that relationships you thought were one way are now another? In life, as in rocks, sometimes we need to take a closer look, get down to the ground and feel it, touch it, investigate and get to know what is solid and what is not before we move on, before we make any decisions as to direction or the place we are heading. Sometimes we need to uncover the true shape of the rock before we question our own sanity in the appearance of them. Sometimes a rock is just a rock. It’s the light that is cast upon it that makes all the difference.
9. The Trip Within
Is it time to take a trip? You tell me. Sometimes the greatest trips or adventures come not from going somewhere physically outside of yourself, but instead dropping down the rabbit hole of your own soul to find that adventure. To stand in the face of your mirrored soul and see what is reflected back and where that mirrored image takes you is the trip of a lifetime. There is something that has been hiding from you lately, something that has been nagging you and as much as you try to look elsewhere for it, it will not be answered. It is time to take a trip. It is time to sit still with yourself and instead of looking outside for answers or for someone else to come and help you, find you, seek you. It is time for you to stop and connect with the deepest part of yourself and really ask yourself, is this what I want? Is this what is right for me? You will know the answer, almost as immediately as you ask the question. You always know the answer; it’s just sometimes easier to have someone else give it to you than it is to give it to yourself. So tune in to the frequency that is you and take the trip within. The view is astonishing, the air is sweet and you will come back more refreshed and renewed than ever before. Is it time to take a trip? You tell me.
