Power Plays, Death, and Immaculate Rebirth with Mars Trine Pluto on February 24th, 2021.
On February 24th, 2021, we have a beautiful celestial Mars trine Pluto in the skies and almost as if by divine intervention, many of us will feel incredibly empowered to be our best selves and stand tall with admirable courage. There is no backing down, not now. These are moments we read about in history. These are moments we tell our future generations that we lived through, and were changed by.
Mars is traditionally known as the planet of action, force, fire, passion and drive. Some refer to Mars as the planet of war also. Certainly, there is a testament of immense energy that Mars brings to any situation. Trine to Pluto, we see a harmonious partnership and together, they help us seize the opportunities in front of us.
In astrology, a trine denotes a favorable aspect in which two celestial bodies are 120 degrees apart. It brings the best attributes of those bodies together, highlighting positive potentiality through possible and practical means.
Pluto can be an intimidating energy. It is often associated with attributes of death, rebirth, destruction and creation. It reshapes us, and builds us anew after tearing us down to start over. Pluto is the ruler of the sign of Scorpio which intensifies our internal awareness and battle between the Ego and the Soul Self. Take that energy and mix that with fiery Mars, and you have a power packed moment that can be life defining.
The important thing to make note of, is that these two planets are trine to one another instead of squared. They are harmoniously working together, rather in opposition to one another. And we are going to see a reflection of cooperation, cohesion, synergy, and teamwork where we’d least expect it. In this moment, it is possible that enemies can make peace with one another. And new solutions are formed.
This is also happening during Pisces season, where emotions are likely to be more dominant in decision making. It is almost as if Cupid will be descending down to the Earth plane and shooting arrows into everyone’s hearts. Love will be in the air!
Partnerships will be highlighted at this time. We’ll be more inclined to gravitate to dynamic people who are born leaders, have strong convictions, and are wonderfully inspiring speakers. Research, learning new skills, and branching out to meet and greet new soulmate connections will be highlighted.
Pluto is a bit like a wrecking ball and Mars energy can definitely fuel an explosion as an end result, but we can paint a picture of it as necessary change. We can liken the process as a dilapidated building that needs demolition before the lot can be turned into a community garden. Whatever doesn’t serve our purpose of growth is being cast away.
We can expect to see a lot of things come to an end. But with every ending comes a new beginning. Old vehicles may finally quit running. Our elderly pets may cross that rainbow bridge. Our old plumbing, machinery, or even contracts and policies may quit working but that’s just a sign to begin anew with invaluable appreciation for what had up until now.
There is absolutely no room for fear! Not this time! We’ll receive that push from the universe to speak our mind, say our peace, and make those choices we’ve been too afraid to make. Like it or not, we’re going to have to do something. We can’t divert or stall the decisions ahead so we might as well stand in our own personal power and do it bravely. Because it’s time to take action. The blessing in disguise is that action will come in a more peaceful way than it could have or would have under different celestial circumstances. If it’s a matter of leaving an abusive partnership, leaving a dead-end job, moving to a new place, or reframing your goals, this is the time to take action. Even the universe is saying, “Do it, and do without fear!”.
The signs we’ve been asking for are here. We have the window of opportunity so let’s not waste it. We’ve got this! So often we forget how strong we are. But during this trine, we’ll realize how strong we have always been. Aim high, far, and wide. And don’t give in to doubt.
