“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
No matter where you go, you take yourself with you. That can be good news – or this can be bad news. What is important is before you go – you know – yourself, that is. What makes you tick? What are your priorities?
Are your values handed down from the previous generation or your peers, or have you thoroughly examined them and chosen which to keep and which to no longer honor?
“The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.” ~ William Arthur Ward
There are many ways and places to go, many of which you may not have considered before now. What about pondering where you are going when you begin a new relationship, or make a deeper commitment in that relationship? Do you intend to ‘go’ and get married? Is it a friendship that is based on mutual interests, or is it a friendship that you ‘go’ into for the long-term, warts and all? When you decide or are forced to move, how do you decide where to ‘go’? Do you stay in your own neighborhood around familiar places, family, and friends, or do you choose to strike out for a long-distance move to spread your wings and become more independent?
Do you still ‘go’ within to where your passion and dreams reside? Do you dare? Or have you lost faith in your dreams, which actually means you have lost faith in yourself?
Where does your faith ‘go’ in your darkest moments? Is your faith truly gone, or is it simply buried beneath the surface of your worries and petty concerns that rob you of happiness and joy?
Everyone has faith, no matter what they profess! Sometimes their faith is in love, and for some, their faith is in fear and worry. All those what ifs, shoulds, coulds, woulds, wants! Where did you learn those? Do you truly think you are self-taught, or were you conditioned by a worrying mother, a fearful poverty-conscious father? So before you ‘go’, Know! Know what makes you tick! What brightens your day! What is important to you, today – right here, and right now – YES! BEFORE YOU GO!
Everyone wants to become more conscious, more enlightened, more loving, kind, and compassionate. There are journeys along the way to accomplish this – you must ‘know before you go’ to another octave in consciousness. Acknowledge your hang-ups, anger, be familiar with your triggers that set you off and drive you nuts. Before you ‘go’ – know yourself and then you can truly choose your path with full-awareness.
For many years, as I traveled the world, when making a decision of what to do or where to go on magnificent Mother Earth, I asked myself, “What would I remember? Doing it, or not doing it?” ~ Jussta Thought
You can guess the answer! It was simple for me. Total clarity. I wanted to remember doing it! This is my wish for each of you. Blessings Be!
