We follow the author on her mission to educate herself, and along the way, Ms. Waters finds her own life’s purpose, plus a deep understanding of energy, spirit and psychic mediumship.
I would recommend this as a light read for those curious about communing with spirit and learning some techniques to hone their own psychic abilities. Readers wishing in-depth coverage of the topic of rearing a child with psychic abilities may be disappointed. Ms. Waters is herself gifted, but what about a parent who isn’t? Ms. Waters provides an extensive reading list that helped her gain the knowledge needed to cope with her new reality, and those books should help other parents as well.

Raising Faith is a beautiful book that brings us all on the journey of a mother who realizes that her daughter Faith (and younger son) have mediumship abilities. The story is told from the personal perspective of Faith’s mother, in search for answers to help her children navigate and balance the spirit world and physical one.
Starting from ground zero with no prior knowledge on the spiritual and energetic world, she learns from her daughter, but also teaches herself from every resource available on everything from spirit communication with those who have passed, spirit guides, auras, chakras, how energies can affect us in everyday life, synchronicity and psychic skills. In sharing what she learned; she helps us to learn about these topics as well.
For any parent who has a child with mediumship abilities, but also for the rest of us that know that there is so much more to our universe, and want to grow spiritually ourselves -this is the book to start with. I’d recommend it to everyone who is starting their own journey.

Claire lives in rural Hampshire in the UK with her husband and two children, Faith and Tom. Claire is a registered Classical Homeopath with 12 years’ experience managing a successful Homeopathy practice. Claire has also extended her training to include Nutrition, Kinesiology (including food testing) and Reiki healing.
