February’s New Moon Brings New Opportunities for Adventure, Personal Discovery, and Spiritual Exploration!

New Moons are all about beginnings and setting intentions for the weeks ahead. This particular New Moon in Aquarius beginning February 11th, 2021, will help us break through molds we have been confined to for a long time. These aren’t molds that others have put around us however. These are the molds that we have put around ourselves based on what we have believed we needed to conform to.
Conformity is what will be challenged and this will hit home for everything we hold dear. This could be our karmic lovers, divine counterparts, children, parents, family members, career, life goals, or personal ambitions. This New Moon will have us asking ourselves whether or not we are willing to stay in the situations we’re in, or if we’re willing to break out of those molds and set a new course for a distant horizon.
Challenging conformity is an interesting dynamic, considering we’re all together going through the woes of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now is a time unlike any other, where most of us are feeling even more squeezed and restricted than usual; we’re working from home, we’re schooling our children from home, and we’re unable to just go wherever we want to, whenever we want to.
Many of us will be questioning authority, challenging the norms, and asking ourselves what we should be doing better or different to change the life we have. The Power of Manifestation and Law of Attraction are working in our favor. The Universe is listening, so we need to be mindful and intentional about what we want to shift to make new things happen for ourselves. Be direct, and be very, very specific about what you need and want.
There are a whole lot of ideas, thoughts, and possible overthinking that will be swirling. Allow yourself to simmer down into a state of relaxation if you become overwhelmed or overstimulated. That applies to you especially if you’re an Empath, or tend to take on the vibrations of your environment easily. Be mindful about what you expose yourself to, because influences will be on your radar more than usual.
Grab a chunk of beautiful Moonstone, smudge your personal space, and set your intentions with a New Moon Ritual. The only thing stopping you from achieving your goals is you. Sometimes our confines or prisons are simply in the idea or perception that they exist. If you don’t like something, it is up to you to change it. With that said, be kind and gentle to those around you. Temptations to be a bit judgy are looming, and could create conflict, especially in communication. Because keep in mind, we’re also still in the energies of Mercury Retrograde, and miscommunication is already emphasized right now.
Phase out what no longer serves your purpose of growth, and aim your sights on going forward instead of backward. Don’t hang onto low vibing energies like envy, resentment, or the desire to make someone pay for their sins against you. Instead, set new boundaries, and remove yourself from the situation. In essence, set yourself FREE.
