As a child, a Shadow Man terrorized me, scaring and paralyzing me with fear.

I knew one day I would learn more about these phenomena and get to the bottom of what they really are. I was one of those children who had to know. I needed to get to the bottom of things, tear it apart, push the buttons, see what makes things tick.
I vowed I would combat these shadow people so no one would have to go through what I did. I have done extensive research and Investigations on these lower energy beings and read everything I could find on them. One thing I do know for sure, all the stories seem to be very similar.
We believe they were never human. They come from an evil dimension, and they are here to cause destruction, havoc and anarchy. They survive by feeding off of people’s fears and Illnesses. They always appear to have a cloak draped over their head, or wear a round brim type hat.
They are a pitch black, dark solid figure, sometimes peering through beady red eyes. They mostly travel solo. We call them watchers or observers. They usually attach to one person, often the very young or very old.
These lower dark energies have been observed and seen for as far back as records have been kept. Children seem to be the most susceptible to their presence.
Stories range from hovering over a child, to watching them as they sleep. These creatures communicate with them verbally or through mind control. Children are easily manipulated and have innocent minds, so we believe this is why the shadow people prey on the children.
Just their sheer presence is terrorizing to children or anybody else for that matter. They seem to lurk in dark places, most often the less trafficked areas such as under the bed, in the closet and in attics.
We do know they do not like to be in areas that are bright with lots of traffic. (I believe the old fear that children have stated for years that there are monsters under their bed and in their closest comes from these Shadow People lurking in these places and scaring children)
They have been known to talk children into doing horrific things such as bite through electrical cords, jump out of closed window, cut themselves, and many other horrifying acts of violence. These events are on record from children who were interviewed after accidents have occurred.
In many cases, children have become quite ill with ailments such as upper respiratory issues, chronic sinus and ear infections, and flu-like symptoms.
Elderly people, as well, seem to be afflicted by the shadow people, most often the weak elderly. They feed on their illness and fears, often accelerating the illness, causing death. I believe this has happened in many circumstances where a shadow person has been known to attach itself to the ill elderly person.
Why they are here to watch and observe, we’re not sure, but we do know they are here and that they are watching us. I believe they have a higher anarchy that they must report to, but in order to survive they must feed on the fear and destruction around them and their subjects.
If you think you have a shadow person, this is what to look for:
- Seeing a dark shadow figure out of the corner of your eye, mostly at night, and it becomes very annoying
- Seeing the figure in full apparition wearing a hood or a round, brimmed top hat, sometimes with red glowing eyes
- A dark smoky mist creeping through the room
- Waking up in the middle of the night with the feeling that someone is watching you or hovering over you
- Hearing voices asking you to do things out of the ordinary that are hurtful to you or others
- A feeling of sudden bouts of raging paralyzing fear
- A sense of chaos or an uneasy feeling around you all the time
- Unusual smells you cannot place, often foul or sulfur in nature
- Upper respiratory issues, sinus infections or flu-type symptoms
- Scratches or bruises on your body that appear out of nowhere
These are tell-tell signs that you possibly have a shadow figure.
How to combat these lower level energies:
If you are having any of these symptoms and you feel something is going on around you that’s obviously not of this world, then it is time to combat this issue.
You do have the power to do this. An important thing to remember is that we choose our experiences. You are empowered to take control. If you are not comfortable combating them yourself, then always call a Psychic Medium, Priest, and/or a Paranormal Investigator who specializes in sending these lower energies back to where they came from, such as myself or other light workers that have the knowledge and experience in handling this type of situation.
If you should choose to combat these lower level energies yourself, there are tools you will need to help you in your effort. First and foremost, trust and believe in your ability to combat this energy!
Here is a list of items you will need:
A dish or bowl that can handle heat (you will be burning herbs inside of it)
Black charcoal briquettes or Hooka bricks (used for burning herbs)
White Sage
Frankincense and Myrrh
Sea Salt
These items are very affordable and can be purchased at your local Metaphysical store or can be ordered online through Amazon, EBay or other online stores. Sea Salt can be purchased at your local Grocery store.
Once you have these items, here is what you need to do:
Have the bowl in hand, light the charcoal brick, place your herbal mixture in the bowl on top of the smoking brick and walk throughout your home and smudge each room. You must acknowledge that you know the shadow person is in your home and you are demanding it to leave (A Shadow Person does not like to be caught and will almost always flee).
To begin your smudging process, you will want to protect yourself and family members with the herb smudge mixture and don’t forget the pets in the house before and after the procedure.
Just a quick prayer of protection will suffice, such as, “In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I place myself and all people and pets in my home in a bubble of protection that no lower level energies can ever infiltrate.”
Once you start this procedure, you will have its attention. State any prayer or mantra that suits you; for instance, you can say something like, “I bind all lower level energies, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit into the Light or Universe where you can never hurt anyone or yourself again, in the name of God! You are to leave now! You are not wanted here, nor will you ever be wanted here. This is a home of love and light, and in the name of God, I will not allow dark energies such as yourself in our home.”
Next, go throughout the whole house, including every nook and cranny and dark, less-traveled areas such as the closet, under the bed or in the attic. Once you do these steps, you will have this shadow person running for the light. Sometimes, you may have to repeat the steps.
In my dealings with these Shadow People, I have been successful, but the key is to be stern and BELIEVE in what you’re doing.
Now that this is complete, take some sea salt and go to each entrance of the home (front door, back door, side door, and garage door entrances) and place the salt at the threshold and leave it there for at least 72 hours so the salt mineral can be absorbed into the ground. This too, will protect your home from any negative or dark energies from entering your home.
When you have completed the cleansing ceremony, your home is now protected. You will want to continue to cleanse your home about every week for a month. If you feel that the shadow Person is gone, then cleansing your home using this ritual once a month should suffice.
We should make it a practice to clear our homes of any negative energy, whether or not you have a Shadow Person, on a regular basis. I call ‘it giving your home a spiritual bath.’ Just as we bathe ourselves to remove the dirt, crud, and negative energy throughout the day, so too, should we do the same to our homes. After all, this is our safe place, our sanctuary; a place of peace. Let’s treat it as such.
So get busy and cleanse your home, with the tools I shared in this article. Your home will feel much more peaceful and happy, and so will you.
